Amanda Seyfried is in negotiations to co-star alongside Reese Witherspoon in Three Little Words, which Witherspoon’s Walk The Line helmer James Mangold will direct. Lewis Colick and Michael Petroni wrote the script, an adaptation of the 2008 New York Times
bestseller by Ashley Rhodes-Courter, about a Florida girl who entered
the child welfare system when she was 4 and was lost within it for 9
years until an unpaid volunteer (Witherspoon) discovered her. The girl
can’t start her new life until the biological mother releases her
parental rights. Production is set to begin in September.
